I know this is quite old but I expect most people on this forum haven't seen it.
I think the photos capture the moment perfectly and portrays the damage war creates.

What do you mean by I know this is quite old?
Also, you make it sound like war is terrible. It is. But pulling the troops out of Iraq now would be a terrible thing to do. That is because, by pulling them out, terrorists will think we are weak and given up, and it will possibly lead to more attacks. Yes war creates a lot of damage, but in the long run it prevents more damage.
About a year ago, 3,000 soldiers died. That was over the course of 5 years. But in only about 1 hour, that same number died because of a terrorist attack on September 11, 2001.
Tell me this, do you want that happening again?
