alright i recently got dust under my psp and i tried to open it to clean it off but never managed to take the screws of because i stripped most of them by accident which voided my warranty because i had to remove the sticker. and i still had a few months on my warranty to  should i still try to exchange it like i don't think they would check it right away but what if they were to after i exchanged it would they track me down? and i also have a custom firmware on it is that a problem or should i update it to a normal firmware before exchanging? thanks in advance |

They do check it first.
It's like that with games too.
