Gaara's past and childhood--can anyone explain?

.....is anyone here fans of Gaara? it seems like everyone likes only the main characters like maybe kekashi,naruto,sasuke and sakura. i think they revealed a bit of Gaara's past in episode 80 something but i missed it and was lazy to watch it online... so can anyone maybe help explain about his past to me? thank yous:D

There's so much to tell,that it's impossible to say it all here.Also,i have my personal reasons for hating him.Gaara's past was ofcourse depressing all because of the sealed demon inside him "Shukaku."But seriously,he killed countless of ninjas,especially during the chuunin's exams,that may have cause my hatred for him.But now in shippuuden,he became quite the person,saving his village from the Akatsuki ninja,Deidara.

When gaara was a child, he was kind although had no friends. His uncle, who named yashamaru, always stayed with him and took care of him. He was really gentle to gaara. And gaara believed in him.
But one day gaara was attacked by a man. After the fight, gaara won and removed the man's mask. Then he knew:
The guy was gaara's uncle, who finally told gaara the truth--- In fact, from the beginning, he hated gaara and just pretended to love him.
It was really unacceptable and incredible to little gaara. So he became to be more depressive.
And that is the directly reason why gaara then got to be a devil.

...... thanks for the explaining(: i agree gaara was very kind to everyone when he was young. He was really sweet when he was young... what's with the "love" sign on his head? i'm still trying to guess if he painted it or carved it or something.

I have no idea about that, I'd have to look into it. Hmm...I suppose it was just meant to be ironic.

he got it when he was ordered to be assasinated by yashamaru right? when he got angry and then something took place, but i just don't know what actually happened because they didn't show it very clearly. LIke sand was all over the place... i'm guessing it has something to do with the sand
