This is how you put windows vista on your PSP[b]
if this does not help you go to http://www.youtube.com and type in
psp windows vista in the search box
Step 1. Go to http://pspwxp.110mb.com/index.htmthen you should see a blue big box then click on "Download Now"
Step 2. Then plug your PSP in to your computer then on your psp go to "settings" then scroll down or up to "USB Connection" then your computer should reconize it.
Step 3. Click on My computer icon then Removable disk. click on it
Step 4. LISTEN CAREFULLY HERE!!! you need 6 or more folders if not add theses....(TYPE THEM EXACTLY AS IT TYPE THEM!)
Folder 1. DCIM
Folder 2. MISC
Folder 3. MEMORY STICK DUO
Folder 4. PSP
Folder 5. VIDEO
Folder 6. (copy what you dowloaded in [step 1.] it be called pspWxp add that as the 6th Folder.
Step 5. Then wait for your psp to sync it. When done unplug it and go to the internet browser on your psp then add "file:/pspWxp/index.htm" (without quotes) to your homepage then deleate all of your cookies and and put catche as do not use THEN RESTART YOUR PSP THEN GO BACK TO THE INTERNET ON YOUR PSP AND THERE YOU HAVE IT WINDOWS VISTA ON YOUR PSP.
F.A.Q
Q.why does it say "The contents cannot be displayed"
A. make sure your typed every thing right also make sure your deleated your cookies and put catche as do not use.
Q. I can't get to the desktop after the loading screen OR the text on the desktop and the start menu look squashed
A. The display mode must be set to normal. Change it by pressing triangle to bring up the toolbar and scroll to View and press X. Change the Display mode to Normal.
10 easy ways to intall it manually
Download from here
Unzip to an empty folder on your hard drive
Plug in the PSP using the USB cable
Start install.exe and follow the instructions
Unplug the USB cable after it has finished copying
Go into the internet browser of the PSP
Type in the address "file:/pspWxp/index.htm" (without quotes)
Press enter
Press Triangle to hide the browser's toolbars (press triangle again to show it)
You should now be at the Windows XP desktop. If not, go to troubleshooting.
Installing pspWxp Manually
Download from here
Unzip to a folder on your hard drive
Plug in the PSP using the USB cable
Copy the folder "pspWxp" (without quotes) directly onto the PSP's memory card. (most likely E:\)
Unplug the USB cable after it has finished copying
Go into the internet browser of the PSP
Type in the address "file:/pspWxp/index.htm" (without quotes)
Press enter
Press Triangle to hide the browser's toolbars (press triangle again to show it)
You should now be at the Windows XP desktop. If not, go to troubleshooting.
