I've not gone out to see a movie in a long while.

Here is a list of movies that I have yet to see. Which should I see in the theater. (if I missed one feel free to let me know)

1. Transformers (on the top of my list right now)
2. Knocked up
3. I now pronounce you chuck and larry (looks really funny)
4. Die hard

Thats all the ones that I can think of right now - again, as I mentioned, if there are any that you can think to inform me of - let me know

Thanks
T

My general rule of thumb is that action movies are better on the big screen. Unless you've really invested some money on your home theater system, you won't be able to replicate the sight and sound quality of the cinema.

A good comedy is sometimes better in the theater. Being in a room where every single person is cracking up seems to make things a little funnier to me. That phenomenon only seems to occur in a full theater, so take that into consideration.

As of this writing, I've only seen Transformers and Knocked Up. I thoroughly enjoyed both, but my recommendation is to catch Transformers with the biggest screen and the most sophisticated sound system you can find.

That's what I was thinking. Now I just have to convince my wife to go see Transformers. She's not a big fan of the over the top "guy's guy" movie.

wish me luck - haha

LOL. I'm strongly opposed to spoilers. I mention it only to offer proof that it isn't a constant stream of explosions and CGI. Perhaps it will give you some ammunition in convincing the wife.

Live Free or Die Hard is great if you like action movies with alot of car stunts. Also, a very interesting plot. I really enjoyed it and felt like it was worth leaving the house for.

I agree with the above poster on Die Hard. Great action movie and Bruce Willis is still one of the best action movie stars out there at age 50.
