Is PS3 much better than PS2?

In comparison, do you really think that there is a HUGE difference between PS2 and PS3 consoles in terms of graphics etc - I don't think so!

Hell yea there is ps3 has much less games but if u use it right than its better

i guess there would less difference..in case of graphics and gameplay...but a big dpfference with the price...and also..there is still less games that came out for the playstation 3...but it would be nice to try it too..

After my first gen PS2 went crispy, the deciding factor for me was one game alone... Guitar Hero 2. So far I can find no support for the controller with the PS3.

The graphics are twice as good if not better. I'm not sure that it's worth the price tag because of the poor game play, but it is a $1000 blue-ray player for less than that.. It all depends on the person's taste.

Ha, if you can't tell the difference between PS2 graphics and PS3 graphics, I can say without a doubt that you are blind.

Umm.... Ps3 graphics are running on High Def, while PS2 graphics are not.... this is like comparing a Ferrari to a Ford Mustang.

They both look good and ride well, but one is just more eye catching and more expensive.....

Right now the only bonus to the PS3 is the fact that you get the ability to watch BluRay discs for much cheaper than even buying a regular BluRay DVD player (as derricks stated).....

If the graphics aren't a big deal to you, you probably should stick to the PS2 for now as it's much cheaper...

lol hmmm State U's are using the PS3 to calc. scientific data from users around the world... hmmm ya no power there... fact of the matter is until programmers start using the 8 core cpu and the blue ray to its potiental its gonna look only a little better then ps2.

I don't have, and don't want, a PS3, so I prefer a PS2. Simple and a classic.

I've played with the PS3 and its awesome. The graphics are good and I love the wireless pads but I perfer the good 'ol PS2. It has better games.
