Need help to run a game

Hi, I downloaded GROM terror in tibet, and finally had two maps with CD1 and CD2. I burnt them and innstalled the game on my computer, but when I try to launch a message appears :

Error validating original CD
Wrong CD rom(s). Please insert "GROM"-CD-ROM 2

The games name is GROM terror in tibet.
What can i do to get this work?

Now will sure many of you think this is Piracy, but I hate piracy too, but I dont think to download GROM is piracy. GROM terror in tibet is an old game, and I dont think it had so much sucsess. Therefore I do not find any place to buy it from, and I think it was only luck that i found a place to download it from. Both of their homepages is down (gromgame.com/de).

hmm i've never heard of that game... are they .iso files? if so maybe try using daemon tools or alcohol 120% and load it onto a virtual drive, or is there another .exe file in the downloaded folder to replace the game.exe file with once installed.. other than that I can't really help you I'm just guessing here... If there is any comments on the site you downloaded it from other ppl might have posted how to get it to work.

Chances are the original disk had some kind of copyright code on it that the cd burner did not copy. Starting back in the late 1990s, companies started putting codes on the cds that were not usually copied. It sounds like your copies skipped that protection file.

Yea theres probable/most def a protection on CD. try finding a crack or have a look on the website where youve got it from,what other people say.

yeah you will need what is called a crack, do a google search for it. It's a shame that to play the old great games we have to turn to piracy
