There are some PSP video converters, you may need it.

1. PSP Video Express (Free) is a lite version of PSP Movie Creator. PSP Video Express converter supports video files (no DVD support) for optimized video playback on Sony PSP. Video editing features from PSP Movie Creator are included, such as cut off credit/cast at the end of the movie to make files smaller, etc. But is still better than other PSP video converters and has the features other converters don't have. (E.g. determine output size before conversion, easier to use, support more video formats, support more video resolutions, video thumbnail capturing and video title modification, PSP video transfer mode, etc)
PSP Video Express converter can be freely used for educational purpose only. No technical support is provided to the free version of PSP video converter software. Please purchase PSP Movie Creator to support our development.

2. PSP Movie Creator helps you to convert PSP video/movies in one click. The software converts DVD movies and various video formats* to Sony PSP directly. Unlike other software which requires at least two steps to convert from DVD to PSP, PSP Movie Creator works in 1 step and is 400% faster with even better video quality. Moreover, the converter gives you advanced video editing features not found anywhere else
PSP Movie Creator is also a PSP video management software designed for dummies. It connects to PSP and transfers video for you, automatically sets default PSP video filename, PSP video title and captures video thumbnail. Unlike other software, PSP Movie Creator can capture PSP video thumbnail in the middle of preview/recording by simply clicking the capture button. Built-in PSP video explorer window lists video filenames and PSP video titles together side by side. Pie chart of PSP memory sticks usage; free spaces are displayed for the best of your convenience.

3. ImTOO PSP Video Converter v3.1(support PS3)
ImTOO PSP Video Converter is a powerful PSP converter. It can convert almost all popular video formats such as AVI, MPEG, h.264, 3GP, CUE, APE, CDA, DVD, VCD, WMV, MP4, DivX, MOV, animated GIF, RM, ASF to PSP video and convert audio formats like WMA, OGG, AAC, M4A, WAV and AC3 to PSP MP3 with high speed and perfect quality.
With the FREEWARE PSP Video Manger integrated, you can transfer the PSP video directly into your PSP player, which enables you to enjoy your favorite movie on your PSP anywhere and anyway.
In addition, Audio CD ripping function and H.264/AVC encoding conversion have been supported.

Key features:
1. Super fast conversion speed provided as it full supports Intel Pentium D Dual-Core Processor and AMD Athlon™ 64 X 2 Dual-Core Processor which ensures full use of your CPU
2. Multi-threading and batch conversion supported, thus the more files you convert the faster ImTOO PSP Video Converter works than other PSP converters
3. Easy to use as all properties and settings are displayed in the interface which are easily handled
4. All encoders/codec are built-in for you to finish the supported conversion directly

I have a video file. I hope that it is in a new name after conversion. But it would be not convenient for me to rename the output files each time after conversion. Is your program able to help me with this issue?

No problem.
I recommend Imtoo PSP Video Converter, It is just a new feature in the V3.1.
On the right panel of the main interface, you can find an item called "File name". After your file is loaded, please highlight it in the program. And then, enter the name you want for the final output file in this field and press "Enter" to confirm. After the conversion is done, the content you input for this field will be the title of the output file.

Hope it can help you!

This guide will help you transfer your DVD movie onto your PSP.
from: http://www.yasasoft.com/dvdripperplatinum/howto/dvdripper_dvdtopsp.htm

1. Download YASA DVD to PSP Converter and install it.

2. Run YASA DVD DVD to PSP Converter. Select output profiles of "PSP Video Format(*.mp4)" on the menubar.

3. Click menu "Open DVD Disc ... " button to open open the DVD Disc.

4. YASA DVD to PSP Converter will show "DVD Output Wizard". If you are newbie of video conversion, Just simply click "Finish", because Output profiles of "PSP Video Format(*.mp4)" has already input the default setting for outputting PSP video . If you are an expert otherwise, you can use "DVD output Wizard" to change the settings.

5. You can choose the output filename, audio language, subtitle, output video size etc by clicking menu "option".

6. If you want to make video clips, please click "Clip & Convert ..." button. Click "create new clip' begin time and end time

7. After all, Click "Convert All ..." button to start converting.

8. After the converting complete, Click Menu "Tools"->"PSP Video Transfer" to transfer PSP Video to SONY PSP Player.

9. Connect with your PSP player, Select the video files that you need to transfer, and Click "-->" button to start transferring. Note: Don't forget to check the option of "automatically generate thumbnail of PSP video on PSP Player".

10. Now you can play your DVD video on your PSP player.

I tried several demo converters from download.com and found that the best and easiest to use was ImToo video converter platinum. I've converted several movies and the quality was good if a bit bulky at 450-500mb for a 1hr 30min movie but couldn't fault the quality. I was so impressed with the tool I bought it, $35 if I recall, well worth it. It also will convert into a miriad of other formats, a good all round piece of kit.

I have used many video psp converters. I'd like to use Cucusoft PSP Video Converter Suite. It is an all-in-one PSP video Conversion solution.
