| Ha ha. That made me laugh. We all know how closely correlated intelligence and SAT scores are. Sheesh. Why would anyone even come up with this idea? No offense to whoever did come up with this idea, but it's a bit of a waste of time and there are better things to do with one's life. Sorry. >.>; |

Actually, there is some correlation between intelligence and SAT score - just as there is some correlation between intelligence and IQ score. One who gets a decent score on either test usually has enough common sense to succeed in the real world - and hence they're intelligent in that sense of the word.
Regardless, I wouldn't jump to any conclusion based on that data above.
Republicans probably do come of as "smarter" than Democrats because they - as a group - tend to think with their head (therefore earning the reputation of being "heartless"). Still, one's political party affiliation really doesn't say anything about one's intelligence... |

There might be some correlation, but I wouldn't say SATs are enough in measuring common sense to succeed in the real world either...Surely there must have been plenty of high school drop-outs with really high SAT scores, and then there are those people who lack common sense but end up being really sucessful nonetheless. XD...I'm just sorta speculating here and talking to myself.
I don't believe I know enough about politcal parties to characterize either. I do believe though, that a person chooses his or her party affliation by his or her beliefs and education. Beliefs would include beliefs instilled by upbringing. |
