I've always wanted to try surfing. I was skateboarding when I was younger and I've been snowboarding for many years now. And something I've always wanted to do is surfing, it just seems to be much more fun then snow and skateboarding. Has anyone in here tried surfing and can compare it snowboarding?

I've heard that there's a lot of the same technique with surfing and snowboarding, but I haven't tried either so I can't tell you more exact. Haven't even been skateboarding.

I've always wanted to surf to, but I have only tried skateboard one and never snowboard.. So maybe it isn't anything for me.. But would still be fun to try Smile

When I was vacationing in Florida last year, there were some good surfers, it just looks so fun. To bad I didn't signed me up for a beginners class.

I think I would have hesitated to sign up too, even though I would have wanted too.

Never done any of the three you mentioned. I did stand on a skateboard once though, but that only lasted for 10 seconds, then the street just hurted... Anyway, last Saturday I was supposed to take a snowboard lesson, too bad the lesson was already booked full and I could sit at home in front of the tv again... Soon I'll take a lesson... Soon...
But surfing doesn't really appeal to me. I just don't like the way it looks... I only like the movie Blue Crush, but that because Michelle Rodriguez is in it *purrrrrrrr*
