"The Bite Fight" Holyfield-Tyson match up 2

On June 28, 1997, in what would become known as "the bite fight", Mike Tyson bit Evander Holyfields ear, purportedly in retaliation for Holyfield headbutting him. Tyson lost two points, but the fight continued. When Tyson bit Holyfields other ear and actually removed a chunk of flesh, he was disqualified! Tyson would later be fined $3 million and have his boxing license revoked. Holyfields ear had to be surgically re-attached after the fight.
