Xbox 360 vs PS3

I've heard some really good comments about ps3, they said that Xbox 360 looks like crap compared to ps3.

What do you think?

I've tried both xbox and ps2, and xbox was much better, so I belive that 360 is better then ps3 too.

don't talk too soon - the graphics on the xbox are enouth to give you a heart attack - do you really think ps3 is goin to even be near that?

p.s if it is i bet there are loads of bugs - the ps2's games always had a fps problem over displaying a number of explosions , gta san andreas has it too , when in certain cars.

I currently own the PS3, the 360 and the Wii and each of them have their good points, too bad I couldn't get a system that did it all.

The 360 has been my work horse console for the last year and still has a large amount of my gamefly queue. The graphics are nice but the games seem to be nothing but adventure, sports and driving. Now if any of the other systems could come up with something to compete with Live we would have serious problems.

The PS3 has had a poor showing because of its launch titles but Resistance fall of man on my HDtv is wonderful, I really wish I had a digital receiver so I could take advantage of the surround sound. I hope that the bugs with the PS network get worked out so I can see what it really can do, since Sony said it would be better then live and free.

The Wii has had a wonderful opening and Zelda is a great game, I just wish it had a much better resolution then 480p. The games have been nice but having to have your friends code just so you can hook up with them online is a pain.

So far it seems like the 360 is going to keep its lead with Live and the robust game library, I am just hoping that the zune integrates wirelessly with the 360 as seemlessly as they said it would.

Just an opinion, but the 360 seems to be worth the money. Now if only I could say the same for the HD-DVD drive.

Surprisingly the 360 and the PS3 controls are fairly the same but both of them have been very nice in allowing custom button configuration that allows me to get the buttons to about how I had them while playing halo 2 for my first person shooters or just like NFS: Carbon for my racers.

Now the Wii takes a few minutes to remember that if I get frustrated with the controller and slam it down on the couch it will actually do something, but the only game I have really put time into has been Zelda and Zelda games have always had weird controls just like the new Final Fantasies.
