i have a modded xbox with matrix modchip installed.i have also xbmc installed in the hdd.adjusting the xbmc i put off the autostart function of dvdrom.i change also the xboxdash.xbe to another name.now it can't boot neither from hdd or dvdrom.big mistakes i know but now i am desperate.please tell me someone what to do

| By changing the dashboard you just ruined your xbox. At least we know that it's your fault for being an idiot and modding it in the first place. Moral of this story, don't mod your xbox. |

you need to create another boot disc that will run any dashboard, i prefer avalaunch, and then ftp your xbox and change your dashboard in the /C: directory back to xboxdash.xbe. thats the only name that will work unless you changed your bios to find the dashboard with a different name.
just look on google and find a tutorial on how to create a boot disc. |

| why tell him how to fix it? he ruined it being an idiot deleting stuff he didnt know what was. Modding ruins online play as well. |

| you can still play online with a modded xbox. and i am telling him because i modded my xbox and in my opinion its better than a PS3. |

go back to ms dashboard, Launch menu, Apps, then um
U know where your xbox personal settings are yeh go there then change evrything back to the same name if you can rember it. |
