You cannot view videos right off Youtubes site. PSP only supports flash player 6, and youtube needs flash player 9. One of the ways to download videos off youtubes site and onto your psp is to get VDownloader on download.com and then to enter the link in on the program. Make sure you select the PSP button. It will download the video right off of youtube and convert it to an .MP4 so you can pt it on your psp. =]

maybe your files is not mmp4 format or you haven't add the video on the right place, As I know, If your PSP firmware vertion is V3.0 or below
1) create a folder named "MP_ROOT" in PSP memory stick
2) inside that folder create an "100MNV01" folder, and a "100ANV01" folder.
3) If your video is MP4 format, rename it with this format "M4VXXXXX.MP4", rename the thumbnail with this format "M4VXXXXX.THM", XXXXX are five random numbers you like.
4) If your video is MP4, save it in the "100MNV01" folder, but if its and AVC video, save it in the "100ANV01" folder.
If your PSP firmware version is above V3.0
1) create a folder named "MP_ROOT" in PSP memory stick
2) inside that folder create a "Video" folder
3) then copy your MP4 file to this folder, done
i think just three step then you can enjoy your movie or video on psp at once
1. download a convertion software, let's make aimersoft psp video converter as an example(i have been using it)
Download and install Aimersoft psp video Converter, you can free download the latest version from here:
http://www.aimersoft.com/psp-video-converter.html
2. Run Aimersoft PSP Video Converter , click “Add” button to import your video , then click “Start” to start the conversion, the default setting works perfect.
3.After conversion finished, then connect your psp to pc, you can follow the above nameing step to add the video to psp
or just turn to this software, it contains a tool called psp video manager, which can help you to save video to PSP or export PSP MPEG4 videos located in your PSP to your computer directly and you don't need to manually rename PSP MPEG4 files
but if you want to watch Youtube video on psp with wifi on internet, you can refer to this page:

you can use Moyea FLV Downloader to download Youtube Video, I always use Moyea FLV Player to play .flv, and I can also enjoy FLV on my PSP with FLV to Video Converter, it is easy to use, and I can get good quality

you can have these tools on http://www.flvsoft.com/products/
